Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15th in 1961) is an American actress. In the last decade Angela Evelyn has appeared in film and TV. She's received many awards, including 16 NAACP Image Awards. Bassett is a native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was brought up in Winston-Salem North Carolina by her aunt following her birth to New York New York, is an acclaimed actress. Bassett relocated with her sister to St. Petersburg Florida at age five in order in order to be closer to their mother as she was divorced from their dad. Bassett was in high school and was a fan of John Steinbeck's play Of Mice and Men with James Earl Jones and she made the decision to pursue acting. Yale University New Haven Connecticut in which she graduated with her bachelor's degree in African American and master's degrees (1983). At Yale she came across Courtney B. Vance a co-actor and they got married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. Degree in African-American Studies in 1980. Masters in Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grade) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett currently works in one of her leading parts, Ramonda, in the action adventure film i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).
